The GT5 Pistonheads Touring Car Championship
I have quite shamelessly nicked this idea and cars from someone on GT Planet but I think it'll be fun so who cares. A 5 round championship, do 1 round a week, say a Thursday at 9:30 pm for example. 2 races. 10 laps each with fuel and tyre wear turned on. Sport medium tyres to make it interesting but with some grip.
16 player maximum, you can either enter as a team with upto 3 players or as a single car entry, BTCC style. I will award points in the same style as the current FIA points system, 25pts for a win etc....
Team points are also available for the teams that choose to enter, these will be a total number of points scored by 2 nominated drivers for that race (this is to keep it equal for all teams).
Races will be run on the real tracks in the game, Laguna, Monza, Spa, Suzuka and a final round on the Nurburgring 24hr course (this will be a 3 lap race rather than 10).
Now for the part I have shamelessly from GTP, the car choices, the specs of which are listed and MUST be adhered to. If any cheating or deviation in spec is discovered disqualification will follow. The cars are....
If anyone is interested get your names down and I'll get it all setup and details finalised.
