Sword of the Stars 2 from Stream, not running- ideas??

I have purchased and download Sword of the Stars 2 and it does not want to load/install. I get a steam window popping up - Performing first time setup...
Installing Microsoft VC redist Package ....

Then the window closed and nothing else happens

If checked Steam but nothing about this issue and also the Support pages for the Game, there have been issues but no clear resolve..

Any ideas any ideas on fixing this would be great?
