Help needed Server connection timed out on PS3 MW3

So I bought MW3 on Friday and all is well until tonight
For some reason I keep getting this message and booted off the game. I can wait and join a game but after 10 seconds it sais server connection timed out

Can anyone help as I'm about to launch it out of the window

Leave it half an hour and then try again, plays up occasionally

If it still doesn't work later you might need to think again though

Try joining someone on your friends list and it might work.

Mine sometimes has this problem for a few minutes then starts up again working fine.
