Capture Cards

Not sure whether to put this into here or Computers, Gadgets & Stuff.

Basically, I want to record my xbox gameplay across mainly Battlefield. Whats the best way of doing this? I don't want to be limited to a few hours worth of gameplay ideally. More like it goes straight onto and external hard drive or PC ready for editing as a large movie file.

I've heard of the Hauppage HD PVR but that looks a tad expensive! Anything else available? Benfits over the HD PVR? Should I get the HD PVR?

Thats what most of the videos on youtube are captured on, something like that. Im tempted to get one myself...
