are they worse than fm3? a 16 car grid is brilliant fun but people just dont take any care. i was in a race with another pistonheader earlier today and took a little more care not to hit him than others but it was to a point you could be sure that last corner someone will wipe out someone near to them just for the sake of it. maybe i just need to make a bigger effort and get involved with the pistonehad only races im not that quick but much more of a gentleman racer.

Much worse. If your lucky you'll land in a lobby with some good guys but more likely it'll be full of cocks. You can't kick them cause their mates keep them in so you end up jumping from lobby to lobby. Sometimes it's just a big pain in the ass.

I just stick with it and practice recovering from being hit. Pisses people off mightily if they hit you and you just powerslide out of it like a boss. biggrin

Was racing 599 GTOs at LeMans (cycled production) and some tt decided to try and shove me into the sand and failed. So I laid in wait until the first chicane, he braked really early, I went inside him and BAM put the idiot into the wall hehe that was quite satisfying.

Haha I love doing this!!!

Usually unless I'm in the top few, I'll let everyone crash, take each other out etc. Then after about half a lap it's split up and I'll pick them off one by one.

Yep. They're horrendous. Very annoying when you try and fight your way from the back only to have some 14 year old tell you you're rubbish as you didn't beat him, despite being 3 seconds a lap quicker. Grrr.

It was dire in FM3 (curiously not so bad in FM2), I gave up early on and stuck to PH only races; haven't played 4 online at all yet though.

Was all about FM2.

Had some outstanding online races on there.

Its all about racing the lower classes, and adding any clean racers you find.

If it's all looking a bit mental I hold back on the first corner, let the carnage take place and then take it from there.

Forza 4 is no worse than 3 IMO both are full of idiots in public races, especially the type that dont bother to brake for corners!

I do think the AI is a bit OTT at times in FM4, the amount of times ive been hit on a straight is ridiculous and you seem to hear the cars behind crashing a lot!

The PH Championships are definately the way to go. I've found its not necessarily the driving standards as you always get people who are awful and hit off on straights etc but sometimes you get into a lobby with people who really quick and clean. What is really good about the PH Championships is you get use cars that otherwise never get used as everyone just uses leaderboard cars online; such as the nations cup is using Seat Leon SC's only the only time you could use that online would be on a track with a straight no longer than about 2 feet.....

First corners will always find me completely off line on the grass on the inside, virtually stopped, looking backwards.

lol well this is whats been expected out of 16 player lobbies the rush for the first corner and the kids who dont understand what braking or overtaking means, just SMASH SMASH SMASH.

so now all i do is set up a private lobby open it up to public, the nivite club members and friends, then if some random comes on we can see how they race and act accordingly.

if anybody wants to have a race now, add me (GT):- CalgonUK, i set up a lobby nearly every night providing no one beats my rival times

well said Rob yes

tbh I enter random lobbies expecting others to drive badly but tbh I've only come across a handful of deliberate take out aholes.

B class with my F150 Raptor, they can't spin me out..they struggle to beat me "fairly" too biggrin
