TBH I know full well how lag affects it, I can play on a laggy game and go 2-20 or I can play on a smooth (for me) server and go 20-2........... For example yesterday I was shot and killed by someone, then on my screen (after I was dead) he came into the room and opened fire.......

ETA - and 3.5mb as the lowest connection? I wish I could get that kind of speed!

not read the above link yet (work blocks it) but def agree withthe above! lag is critical to how the game plays. You can normally tell if you have host (PS3 / Xbox) or are conected to a server with a really good ping by the way the game plays. If you feel like a god and seem to kill people before they have even seen you then you probably have a great conection.

Really good players will understand the amount of lag they have and will alter the way they shoot to compensate. This is why sometines if you shoot behind a target they still go down.

I guess the real questions is what dose everyone do when the connection is bad? camp? run around like a headless chicken? spray shoot around corners? or just rage quit?!?!?! lol

Thats probably just the physics of the game! alot of games now tend to allow bullets to pass through walls, most of the time with less power. It could be thanks to lag and the kill boxes of your character lagging behind you moving.
