Anyone else got Need for Speed The Run?
Been playing for a couple hours and its not bad, couple of things are annoying me though.
The cars seem really slow, im driving a GTR and it takes aaaages to get over 100mph.
Also, the AI cars seem to be programmed to be faster than you no matter what, up until a certain point in the race.
Anyone else noticed this?

sorry, never heard of it.

just googled it, it looks a bit like a game that 12 year olds would play.
I'm out
NFS games are always going to be like this in my opinion. Even Shift was the same style and lost its appeal years ago personally.
I tried the demo and got bored quite quickly of the predictability during races. I sahll not be purchasing.

The thing is these games could be awesome. I was really hoping hot pursuit would be like hot pursuit 2 on the playstation 2. But it wasn't. I miss the big long chases and wondering whether or not you'd make it. The new one felt like the races were over way too soon.
The online part of the recent Hot Pursuit was awesome!bigdavy said:
I had high hopes for this, the idea sounded damn good but having read various reviews saying the AI is far too intrusive i don't think i'll bother.
Are there any other driving games outwith NFS Shift & GT5 the learned would recommend?
Forza 4 is arguably the best racing game ever made for consoles, you will need an Xbox 360 (a new one, don't buy a used 360)Are there any other driving games outwith NFS Shift & GT5 the learned would recommend?
