Wii Fit, alternative ???

The other half is keen on getting a Wii Fit, can you run driving sims like Grand Turismo or Dirt etc on Wii Fit ???

Or should I look else where ie Xbox or Play station, At the moment this household is game console free !

Get an XBox 360 with the Kinect add-on (fancy camera sensor that detects your movements) and then she can play Your Shape: Fitness Evolved and you can play Forza 4.

But seriously Wii games tend to be more family / kids focused, we've got one and it's great for Mario Kart and bowling with my 6 year old, but if you want driving games and the like you need a PS3 or Xbox really.

Xbox (plus Kinect) has a pretty snazzy looking (from the TV ad anyway)fitness *thing* on it.

Wii Fit is a game for the Wii, not a console itself. It has Mario Kart, but no racing sims as such - if you want racing sims then you'll want one of the other consoles. But then you won't be able to play Wii Fit.

Both of the other consoles do have Fit-esque games through their addons (Playstation Move and whatever the Xbox one is called), but I don't think they're as good as the Wii ones.

P.S. Don't bother with Playstation Move - it's a turd, worst thing I've ever bought computer-wise.

Thanks for the input guys. Don't need to join a gym, I do have a bike and rural Aberdeenshire gives me all the exercize I need.

Just looking for a bit of fun, when we are snowed in. The last driving sim I had was Colin McRae 2 on my PC about 12 years ago, I think they may have improved a bit since ?
