Yes.. a COD4 question...
Discussion
Me and a few mates have been smashing MW3 lately (PS3), but a couple of us decided to have a bit of a trip back to COD4 for a laugh. Only thing was whenever my mate tries to get on, he gets a pop up message saying 'Are you sure you want to play COD4?' and when he clicks yes it just resets his PS3, anyone else ever heard of this? We heard one other person had this but when they clicked yes it loaded. Would just be nice to go back and have a game.
I picked up COD 4 this time last year for a couple of quid, thought I'd give it a go having only played it round a mates house. The servers wern't 'entirely' deserted, however all the people on there were clearly COD4 fanatics who could probably locate the enemy spawn points quicker than their own front doors... As the only non-max level player on there it was akin to slaughter

I do however keep playing COD5 WaW (despite having recently getting addicted to BF3). WaW is still the finest infantry-based multiplayer game for me (specifically the servers with no artillery/dogs)- No overcomplications, great maps, great weapons, and the eternally satisfying 'crunch' sound when a headshot is made! I will keep playing COD 5 for as long as there are players on the server.
Shame the newer games in the series don't have the magic of 4 & 5.
Hmm, I wonder if the COD1 United Offensive multiplayer servers still have much activity?

Them were the days!...
Yep, why did they have to go and hack everything? I liked playing MW2 too and collecting the emblems and stuff. Loved going around with my M4 1000's headshot in my title. But then they hacked it and it all became worthless.
Same with MW1, me and my brother were up to about 10,000 in the world on kills and climbing before we stopped to play cod5. But then there was no point as there were all them hack accounts at the top.
Imbeciles.

I know how you feel, I was in top 300 at one point for kills before it got hacked. I think leaderboards are a waster of time now, it gives too many people a reason to hack, not that they need much of an excuse.Imbeciles.
