Remember, when you were a kid...

And if you saw some exciting car racing on the telly you would crack out the toy cars from the toy box....
Anyone ever still feel the need in that situation to fire up the Xbox/Ps3 etc and have a go on Forza/GT etc to re-enact what you have seen, my missus pointed this out to me the other week having watched something car related, she came back in and asked if the programme I had been watching was still on, I had the xbox controller and the car on screen was suspiciously similar to the one in the programme and she asked me if I was recreating the programme in a condescending manner and I suppose I was, didn't stop me feeling a bit sheepish and about seven years old.
Just me then.....
Also, anyone else have a car crush and then go and do a virtual road test on a the same model with the same mods and paint colour.

I'm almost afraid to admit that I do/did the exact same thing, any car I see on tv, in magazines or just on the road that I like the look of I'll search out something similar in Forza, lately I've been trawling youtube for old Grp.A touring car vids, most of the paintjobs on my storefront have come from them. Before the days of games consoles and PCs I used to draw a lot and did the same, I'd find a picture of a car and "modify" it to how I thought it should have come from the factory, usually they came out worse but there was the odd few that looked really good for a 14yr old kid

Went to look at a new car on Sunday and spent a decent portion of Saturday driving it in Forza - backwards to your scenario, but fun nonetheless
A dab of oppo to you, I've found a car in Forza I really like the look of and have been feverishly searching the classifieds for one just like it, oh dear!

Wish I could say yes, but we didn't have a telly when I were a kid, (you need electricity for that - all we had was gas), but we used to read books though, and play out in the streets and woods. And we were happy.

Watched a Dave repeat of Top Gear last night, with Clarkson driving the 599GTO. Forgot how incredible it sounded, so fired up Forza straight after, found the car in my garage and took it out for a test drive on Camino Veijo. Turn 10 definitely put some work into their recording as it sounds pretty bang on.
Happy days.
