Afternoon folks.....

As some people will know a certain grumpiness has encapsulated me over some of the options and rules that FM4 does and does not allow....namely no damage but with fuel and tyres....

Personally i dislike running with full damage as one tap or one rough down change can ruin your fun...

So I'm suggesting a back to basics event to be run on whatever free day, if there is one, during the week.

The format is simple, one car chosen at random on the night, so no preparation....

You will only be able to use and Auto box, all other assists are optional, but this is my way of equalising everyone and to stop me grumping constantly about people cheating with clutch buttons.....

The track will also be random.....

In an event there will be 3 sprint races of around 10 laps (track length dependant) and there will be a pitstop required in each, but since no damage or fuel this will just be a run through the pits.

I am a great believer in fair racing (despite some peoples thoughts) but I do like to let racers bump and grind with each other without ruining their race....of course major contact will be punished!

Ideally 16 would be fantastic, but I'l gauge numbers and when to start....as there's no car set-ups or anything fancy, this can be started any time....

So, who's up for the challenge of the Challenge Cup challenge..........yeah......

Cheers

Mr Beccleston

I was going to say, how come an auto box instead of a normal manual Curry?

Mr B, I have thrown a couple of 'made for auto' tunes together and sent you one. Actually quite fun if you get the braking perfect and get the box to change down for the bends. Can get slightly bogged down if you get it wrong which could make for some good racing.
