Back to basics, Forza MR2 Championship

Want to gauge interest and see who would be up for a complete series of race nights for a one make / one tune champ. The car will be a Mk1 MR2, B500 tuned, forced cockpit, forced manual only (no clutch) it will be a complete level playing field for the car and down to driver's skill.

The format will be very similar to the Sunday Hatch series except there will be two races each night one each track, a sprint race and a longer race also no staggered starts, it will be true club racing free for all into the 1st bend.

The only night I can do is Sunday, so with the hatches ending soon, I believe there is already another champ set up to replace it, but if the interest is there then this could be run when that finishes.

To me there are too many big power champs and for those who have raced in my one tune races previously they will know how much fun can be had with exceptionally close racing.

Everyone will be running exactly the same tune on the cars and this one isn't supercharged.

Most definately, would love to see a whole field of race painted cars, plenty of pics on the web to use as guides for the painters out there.

Yeah it is, there isn't a non-supercharged mk1 MR2 in game - check out the engine swaps, you start off with the 4A-GZE which is the 'charged one.

However as the playing field is level it doesn't matter too much. Just a pity that I can't make accurate replicas of the Red Dragon MR2 race cars...

I'm definitely interested in this but my HDMI and TV and stuff have been stolen from my Xbox until my graphics card is returned to the computer (as the mobo has no DVI out and my monitor is DVI only)...

Cheers mate, funny thing is that I had to choose a car to remove off my SF this morning and I chose the Daytona, so you were probably the last person to get it, thanks for the rating though.
