Cheap MS points @ Game

Not sure how many on here read hot uk deals, but someoene reported getting 1200 MS points (boxed style) for £4.99!

Be aware that the points system is going to be phased out this year, they may be trying to run down their stock in advance of that...

Even if points are phased out, MS would have to carry over held balances into a cash equivalent, if Live is going to move towards cash-only transactions like PSN.

This offer is only on the old stock, where the card comes in a case. Stock appears to be very sporadic. Neither of the Game stores or the Gamestation where I work had any.

Popped into a Game in Aberdeen, and they don't seem to be doing this deal

Seems to be very limited stock from reading the threads on HUK Deals. None in Nottingham anyway.

Pop into my local today, was something to do with 'old style' / dated packaging and all the offer ones were bought by staff
