Syndicate wars was the first game I ever played where you could destroy absoulutely everything, in glorious 3D ..most games still dont have that now..way ahead of its time..I have fond memories of blowing up monorail tracks and watching as the train came crashing to earth...or blowing up scyscrapers.
It was extremely hard though.
I'm a bit annoyed that they've just jumped on the call of duty bandwagon and made a second rate FPS intead of a real sequel

I HAD to destroy every bank in the game. I felt compelled to loot as much money for my equipment as possible! It was extremely hard though.

Loved Syndicate Wars.
Have absolutely no interest in another FPS game. And I think a lot of the gaming community feel the same.
EA are seriously starting get on my nerves with the amount of crap they spew out. Just look at the problems with BF3.
They seem to have this obsession for taking well loved gaming brands/ series.....and completely ruining them all in the name of making money.
Hopefully the development of Wasteland 2 will be a huge success and will show the gaming industry that they don't need big publishers like EA!
I'm looking forward to the new XCOM game that's not an FPS. There is an FPS one coming too, but I think this one will be out first.
