Feels fine on my G25...

And the 4 wheel drifting in the F1 77 is the best out there.

Hadn't played this for a couple of weeks so downloaded the latest build and tried the 1990 Stock car. Brilliant fun, one of the most enjoyable cars to drive and race against so far and I hate Nascar

Is the only demo on pc?

PC only at the moment, not sure if it's coming out on the current consoles either, they should be looking at developing this for the next generation consoles really.
