I had an 'order shipped' email from Amazon today. Had to double check it wasn't some kind of spam email because it is so long since I placed the order (12 months or so) I had completely forgotten about Diablo 3!
Very much looking forward to receipt but I don't get much opportunity to play games these days.
I found Titanquest a very good interim solution. Worth a purchase if you like these kind of games.

I can't believe I haven't already ordered this. I've checked this morning after spending hours last night watching footage on YouTube, and everywhere seems to be sold out
I played Diablo II for about 19391293 hours so no idea why I didn't look into this sooner. I'm pretty sure my PC will struggle to meet the min specs on this, so a nice PC will probably be in order too!
Just to add - Any way of downloading it ala Steam etc without having to purchase a disc, but also be able to install onto multiple PCs?

I believe you can download it direct from battle.net which is what im probably going to do tonight, would rather buy the box though, so going to try and do that first.

They've done this, because for the last few years D2 has had numerous websites / companies selling items and making huge amounts of money out of it, so obviously Blizz wanted a piece of the action!Odie said:

Yeah but the piss takers are selling it for £45 when everybody else is selling it for £32 - £35. So no physical media or delivery charge to either store or home?? And you want £10 more? Bite me.
I want this game but if it was the last place on the face of the earth I could get it I wouldn't on principle.

Just to summerise as a gamer I can earn money to buy food by playing a game...

First PC game I'm buying in years. I lost months of my life to D2 about 11 years ago (Can't believe it's been that long). Need to visit HMV at lunchtime.
Do HMV still sell PC games?Salgar said:
My local HMV and PC World had sold out, so I sucked it up and bought it online, busy installing now.
And yes, if you buy it online, apparently you do get it for PC & Mac.
I've got a big Tesco and a big PC World next to each other, I'll try both before giving up and paying the Blizzard Tax...And yes, if you buy it online, apparently you do get it for PC & Mac.
Been playing D3 this afternoon and its very immersive. I'm still getting used to the navigation and still instinctivley go for the WASD keys to move. Overall though its very good and I can see it being a huge timesync. Not sure if this is a good thing though *shuts blinds, grows beard*
