Is anyone playing this? Any comments so far? I'm hoping to have a look in on it this evening.

Not actually managed to play it. Had Unity player errors then got past that, game loaded to be told user/pass incorrect.

Edit: Managed to get in: this game is garbage. Weird camera angle, car controlled with the mouse. Tried to get a race going spent ages to wait for 23 players to join for it to just spaz out and chuck up a load of errors. Won't be bothering with this again.

I'd say stick to the desktop version but after getting a corrupt save game after 3 seasons I can't recommend that either. Get your st together Codemasters and give us Grid 2.

Go to the web page for the Unity player settings and untick the cache, to clear it out. Then re enable it. Once you do that you probably won't be able to login, I had to do it in a "incognito" window in Chrome. Failing that try resetting your browsers cache.

I registered but don't think I said I play enough to warrant them giving me beta access. Shame, as I'd probably make a little more time to play this type of thing if I had the opportunity. Certainly looks good from the screenshots and info I've read.

Had an evening with it last week.

Barely scratched the surface though. Control of the car takes some getting used to. I think it would be better without the driving part and going down the route of GT5 (push hard/slow down) and tyre/pitstop management.

The team manager side of things is really good though, but as stated, I've barely scratched the surface with that bit.

Agree, the driving just feels tacked on and a very different class of experience, but I guess it's there to appeal to more of the market share.

My nirvana of the gaming world would an online experience whereby individuals actually had individual roles, so team manager, driver/s etc etc (although preferably in an endurance racing setting).

Just fired up today.

Racing model is strange... sometimes bumps don't matter, sometimes they do; I can only cope with it full screen; looks like my 10 year old daughter is going to be better at it than me!!

Will play for a bit, doubt I'll spend money on it tho.

To me,boring.
They should have focused on the sim aspect ala champ manager. If I wanted to drive I'd get micro machines going on a mega drive emulator
