New monthly Forza DLC paint comp. with real prizes.

Ok guys (and girls) starting today I will be running a monthly DLC paint comp with real prizes for PHers.
Each month I will select a car from the DLC and you have two weeks to come up with a RACE paint job for the selected car.
While you are all painting I will come up with a free tune for the car so that we can have some one make racing after the comp ends.
The quick rules.
You must be a 'regular' PHer! (no entries from people joining PH just to try and win!!)
The paint MUST be your own work and be on your SF so that it can be verified.
You can enter upto 3 different designs each month.
You must post 4 pics of the car on this thread, front, rear and both sides
(at least one of these pics should have the roof / bonnet visable).
When posting your pics pls also include your Gamertag (even if I know you)
Entry will close midnight (UK time) two weeks after the release of the DLC.
The paint must be of a RACE style and include a race number.
The judges decisions are final and not open to discussion!
The prizes
1st place 800 MS Points (that gets you the car pack free!)
2nd & 3rd place 400 MS points.
One final thing the winner won't be eligible to win any prize the following month but would be encouraged to re-enter to support the comp, 2nd and 3rd place painters can enter the following month.
This thread can be used for discussion and ideas for the comp. Banter yes, handbags NO!! Too much of that on other Forza threads!!

So this months DLC car is..........
My storefront has the tune on it just search GT broadspeed. Just so you painters have all the right bits taken off the body before you start painting. It's a A600 448bhp 447lb-ft V8 Supercharged tune, very driveable, think the Legends race series

That's very generous of you Carl, I only hope there's enough interest in it to make it work.
A couple of questions though, the comp is limited to 1 car from the latest DLC pack so if you don't have the pack you're not eligible to enter, while fair that will limit the amount of entries each month.
I'm also not sure about excluding certain members, whilst they are very good at it, painting these cars is pretty easy and all it comes down to is the amount of time you're able to spend on them, plus each paint job should be judged on it's own merits and not against everyone elses. You even ruled out 1 person dominating by saying the winner can't win the next months comp. Even you should be able to enter yourself (not sure about the prizes with that one), so why not open it up for a vote instead?
Can we enter anytime in the first two weeks of the pack being out, or should we post in here saying we plan on entering first?
I've been looking at old 40's/50's Nascar paints liveries for this car but they were all done by hand back then so every car at every race is different

I want to keep it using the latest DLC, I was thinking of using the 'free' car but there doesn't seem to be one this time around and wonder if T10 have dropped that idea.
I think I'll remove the exclusion of Dan and Stu, I was worried that us mere mortal painters would be scared off by there skills. But will leave the exclusion for the winner from the following months comp.
I'm still unsure of the voting thing, would everyone prefer the chance to cast a vote? Worried that it could be 'spoiled' by targetted voting....think thats the politest way of putting it, whereas with me choosing there can be no fixing.
Entries can be made anytime upto the closing time and I think I will allow upto 3 different designs from each person.
The paints can be either replica paints or made up paints as long as they are 'race'

Carl can I get a clarification on somthing. Because the paints need to go onto our storefront. That means we cant use vinlys we have bought on the storefront as they will be locked?
Sorry but the paint must be visable on your SF.I would suggest that if there is a particular 'logo' you require just ask on here, but don't take the pee and design a car using someone elses design, one logo at a time

Just a thought Carl. Why don't you get people email the link to you for their pics. You update the thread with entries and no names. Then when the comp is closed you put a poll up. That way no one knows who has done what.
