MW3 DLC (map packs)

Hi, After the recent patch I had to redownload the maps for MW3 but on the menu it still says i've got original maps only.
I bought the new DLC2 map packs and again it says ive not got them.
I have however been in the lobbys and managed to get on to the new maps but very rarely.
Does anyone else have the same issues, would I be better erasing all data and starting again or is this a fault on the activision servers.
I have double checked that I've downloaded the right packs corresponding with the number on the spine of the case.
