xbox kinect - just a novelty? also - best xbox games?

It's a gimmick if you like "proper" games, but for stuff like the dance games and other casual things it's quite good. It integrates quite nicely with the dashboard as well.

Game wise, if you loved Goldeneye on the N64, you may like Goldeneye on the 360 - it's available from the game marketplace.

I've just done the same, without the Kinect thing though. What game genres do you like? Presumably you have Xbox Live, you can download loads of free demos.

I'll probably get a football game and some kind of killing people game. For the former i'll stick to Pro evo as i was never a fifa fan in the past. For the latter i've read that assassins creed and max payne 3 are good. i know Modern warfare is popular but i've tried it and it seems a bit too technical..

[Negative Creep]

I find the Call of Duty series pretty dull. Trying to get to a certain place in the map to stop endless enemies spawning and getting blown up by a grenade every 30 seconds isn't my idea of fun. Anyway, try this lot@
