Forza 4 - UK Casual Cruising Club - Members Needed!!!
Discussion
Come on guys! There must be more people who are interested apart from this! I'm well aware there is already a PistonHeads club on Forza 4 but i was in this group for a month and only played one game. Also felt the competition was way to hard for my abilities and it's crap when you're miles behind the rest of the pack! Completely understand if no-ones up for moving as the PistonHeads group seems quite good if you're a pro, however i'm really struggling to get members here and i've no idea what to do about it.
Please can someone share a few suggestions of how to expand my members list? Tried the Forza forums but haven't had a single response there!

Note to all current members; obviously play can't really start with such little numbers of people so i'll wait until there's some more members before i start some inviting people into the group lobbies. Sorry for the delays!!

You need to get the name out there mate, paint a car in your club's colours and hang out in the public lobbys for a bit attracting attention that way.
Although racing at the back is frustrating, there is no better way to get better at it. You won't improve by winning every race against slower competition. Also, getting mixed up with the pack more ofetn teaches you how to race properly and have less contact with other cars.

First of all thank you so much for your replies! Yesterday i bought a Mercedes SL Black and covered it in club info but i'm not sure if it's very easy to understand to someone who's tearing past you at 200mph and i don't suppose anyone will bother to read it anyway. While in a 'Tag' game someone did show an interest though, they were moving backwards and forwards around my car very slowly, clearly trying to read the writing i had put onto the bodywork. Will do some more work to it and post pictures when it's finished. I've found that 'Getting my name out there' is easier said than done, seriously need some suggestions like i said earlier!Although racing at the back is frustrating, there is no better way to get better at it. Yeah Fatty is right.
You may very well end up with a lot of socially-deficient 13yr olds who like to say "... You never had me, yo' never had your car!"
Feel free to add me for the fun stuff. Gamertag: GT kodiak
However, you may find this thing more suited to Forza Horizon?
Yeah i'll add you tonight mate. I've heard an awful lot of talk about Forza Horizon recently but it's not even out yet is it? Checked the website a few weeks ago and it said that Horizon was coming 'this fall'. Don't think it's going to be as good as Forza 4 but we'll have to wait and see! Oh and is your gamertag with a capital 'k' or a little one?

I know what you mean, you'd be surprised at how many people use public race lobbies for similar things but have nowhere else to do it so they hang out at corners parked up and chatting. I would suggest maybe at least one car from each class you like to race in (i.e. C - S or something) with the club paint and just use those for a while in the public lobbies. You could park up yourself and ask if anyone's interested in joining. Open up a public lobby titled 'cruising' or something like that and see who joins in there are bound to be people out there withouot a club who want in. When did you post your thread on FM.net?Big Fat Fatty said:

Posted the thread a couple of days ago i think. Still absolutely no replies whatsoever. Why do you ask? I'm thinking about advertising my club as everyone's playing over chat because that way everyone in the group will hear and they can't really 'ignore' what i'm saying unless they turn the volume off. You've thought of a nice idea about creating a lobby titled 'cruising' but whenever i've created one before i usually end up just sitting there waiting for others to join, and in the end i'll give up with boredom!! However i'm definitely going to give it a go because i really believe that it might work if i try.Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
