I've just given away my PS3 because A)I have a a new high-end gaming PC arriving in a few days, and B)because I never could get the hang of those bloody controller things!

Anyway, this means I no longer have GT5 so what is the best driving game for the PC? I've got Dirt3 but is there anything else worth getting?

I tend to only use iRacing these days.

I've always like GT Legends.

There's also a free game called BMW M3 Challenge http://www.bmw.com/com/en/newvehicles/mseries/m3co...

If you want realism, you need iRacing (a subscription based, multiplayer option) or Netkar Pro. They're both brilliant, frankly, but the former is in constant development and the latter is not.

Netkar is due to be replaced by a sequel called Assetto Corsa, which I am pretty confident will be absolutely fking brilliant. The developer is a total genius, if a little... erm... quirky.

For a freebie, Live For Speed is fairly good, worth a go over the weekend anyways!

Used to be right up there a few years ago, seems to have suffered from lack of resources over the last couples of yeas though.

GTR 2 is still worth a blast!

I too have just bought a PC for gaming and have been blown away by how much better it is than the PS3. I havent had a PC for gaming since the days of MOHAA about 7-8 years ago.

So far BF3, Metro 2033 and Crysis 2 on 2560 x 1440 on my dell U2711 have been awesome.

Going to try iracing out this weekend.

Enjoy!

Have a look on http://www.simracingworld.com

Project CARS is one to watch, it's got me wondering about going back to PC gaming too.

Project CARS is quite simply one of the best looking racers out there (if you have the power).I love it so far.

Rfactor 2 is shaping up quite nicely.

Shift 2 with some tweaks is a good blast.

GTR2/Race Evo if you want free mods galore! Many will allow you to add the cars from GT Legends etc as well as many others.Radicals in the rain anyone?
