Hi

I've had a issue with the ARMA2 minimising and requiring a CRTL-ALT-RETURN to recover (swapping between windowed and full screen), once or twice a game. However I have just brought IronFront and it is minimising every ten minutes or so. I get a message that my Graphics drivers have stopped working.

C-A-Return works but I have to ESc out for the game - not good if you are in a fire fight or flying. One Forum thread I read seemed to suggest that it was my graphics card (Nvidia GTX295) but then others seem to have had the problem with newer cards and before I go spending big money on a new card I would like to know for sure.

I've turned off Anti-Aliasing -another suggested cause and I've read about an 'Alt/ numpad "-" and flush' but 'Alt-' did nothing!

Has Anyone any ideas what it could be and how it may be solved?

Are you using the latest 301.42 WHQL drivers? Is your card overclocked?

Nvidia drivers 296.10 - though downloading 301.42 now smile

Thought the problem has been occurring in ARMA2 for several iterations of drivers

No nothings overclocked

If it was the game crashing I would think it's a bug in the game, but if the drivers are crashing then it looks like a driver bug or lack of voltage to the card or temps getting too high (that's why I asked about overclocking). If you still have the issue with the latest drivers maybe try bumping the voltage a bit or underclocking the card a bit and see if that helps.

In my experience, driver crashes are caused by overheating.
