I have played it. It is better to just download (http://slendergame.com/download.php) it before watching the video. I have got up to 6 pages. Once you know how he gets you it becomes a little easier and you get used to the scare tactics. Not a bad way to kill and hour for free though!

ETA: I find Dead Space much more jumpy!

Amnesia was bloody frightening. This one seems a bit limp in comparison.

Dead Space is awesome, although I do wish they'd employ a little bit more tension at times rather than just non-stop monster-rape. I eagerly await Dead Space 3 but I suspect in hindsight the first one will always be the best one overall.

I played this last night round my mates house. I've played a few of the classic scary/jumpy games - Silent hill, Resident evil etc. But this terrified me.

Playing it in the dark, on his 5.1 system - the hairs were standing up on my arms, I was freezing, yet sweating. I saw a page in the oil tankers area, but dithered about going to get it, and my screen started going static (sign Slender Man has almost got you) so I legged it. I went back a few minutes later to grab the page, but couldn't find it. My heart was pounding as I turned each corner to try and find the page, then bang infront of me was Slender Man. Not ashamed to admit that I screamed like a girl and threw myself away from the laptop hehe

Recommend everyone at least gives it a go - at night, in the dark, with the volume up. Its the audio that make 90% of the fear.

That Slender game looks rubbish, just relying on white noise and volume spikes more than anything. Amnesia: The Dark Descent on the other hand, looks brilliant, makes me wish I had a computer that could handle it to play it on.
