Hi,
I already have a PS3, but am considering getting an Xbox with kinect after having seen one in action. My question is, is the PS3 move as good as the kinect or way behind ?(as many suggest - but I've never seen a ps3 move in action).

Costs aside, which offers the better gaming experience?.

TIA

Not sure I'd bother with either.

There just isn't any decent games, and it seems both have been resigned to the "kooky gadgets" bin by games developers, as there are barely any games that really make use of them after they overhyped launch.

Problem with Kinect is you need a fairly large space to make use of them, and there's still the slight delay and innacuracy. This isn't an issue with the PS3 move, but that can only follow the wand, so it's more limited.

I know a fair few people who bought Kinect's (including myself) and I don't think its ever used now, mine hasn't been on for nearly a year. Rumours of a far more accurate "Kinect 2" (including finger tracking) are doing the rounds, but even so I don't think it'll ever be more than a quiky gadget.

Kinect is better but you need a decent amount of space.

If doesn't get huge amount of use but when it does its great fun.

Quite a few demos on XBL to try out

I would get the Kinect, quite a few of the new release games for Q3/4 i.e Splinter cell black ops have Kinect functionality built into them.

Not sure we'll see Kinect2 until the new Xbox is released.

I have both a PS3 and Xbox and the reality of 'gaming' for me is that it's downtime; I don't want to be prancing around my front room, I'd rather be slumped on the sofa relaxing. Seen both in action at mates' houses but never actually known them to use them which I think says it all really.

Had both, sold both. Love my games, really hate the terrible quality of all the games on the 'motion' things.

The Wii is still the best.
