I am confused. I want to play Forza with my son who lives with his mum half the time so we are going to do it across the net.

it's unlikely I will be playing much else on it. So, how many GB do I need?

All help gratefully received.

If it's just Forza, 60GB is plenty. That's what I've got, and I have a couple of other games too.

20 GB will be just fine, mine has just filled up after FM3/FM4, TDU 1/2, MotoGP 07, Just cause 2, PGR4...

Just don't get a 4GB one, you will only have half the cars.

Actually, that doesn't matter, you can save it all onto a USB memory stick.

Yep, get one with a hard drive if it's just Forza, avoid the Arcade or 4GB flash memory ones. Depending on your telly, get an Elite or new shape slim one with HDMI.

HDMI is not exclusive to the Elite or new consoles. You will find it on most older consoles as well, just not the really old original ones. Either way, they all have component anyway.......

Well my 360 is a 'really old' that doesn't have HDMI, didn't realise the less old ones had HDMI, I just thought it was Elites and new shape slim ones.

I beleive the HDMI was introduced to ALL 360's when the elite was first launched. So even post Elite Arcades have HDMI.
