Anyone else remember this little old gem of a game?

My lodger and I used to play it for hours on deathmatch (with a 10 meter serial/null modem cable running up the stairs!), eventually getting down to giving us 101 life each and limiting the big weapons to carrying one and 100 damage, so even if you hit them hard, you still had to get in close to finish them off... not to mention being the only game with both God mode and Dog mode wink

I hunted it out the other day and got it working with Dosbox (Christ, did we ever think those graphics were good??!!) and sent my old lodger an email of nostalgia; a couple of days later he sent back:

So it looks like we're not the only 2 people in the world to have fond memories of this game.... and we might be able to play it again alongside the new Carmaggedon smile (Now, if only they hadn't sodded Syndicate up....)

I remember this game too, you're not the only one with fond memories, although I think I only had a demo of it from a CD that had about 5 demo's on it!

I remember this, but in the era of great sprite shooters (Doom, Hexen etc), Duke Nukem 3D will always be the one that stands out to me. I liked it so much I got a tattoo of a radiation hazard symbol in tribute to the Dukester!
