MW3 maps ... Help please!

Turned the ps3 on for the first time in about a year today.... Have the night free so thought I would stick MW3 on.

My Internet at home is seriously slow as we live in the middle of nowhere, so after patiently waiting for about 2 hours of updates to download, I then finally get onto MW3 and see that I cannot play anything online until I download the new maps.

Now, I'm not big into this, so I don't really understand what's what I'm afraid. Basically I clicked store on the menu and it took me to the MW3 store page. There are 4 download options available: collection 1 and collection 2, both you have to buy at £11.50 each - no thanks..... Then the other two (free) options are MW3 Face Off Maps and the airport map.

Now if I click on either of these map packs it opens up and has 7 different sections to choose to download. All 163MB
Do I have to download all of these (14 in total) before I can play? Because 7 of them will take 212 minutes to download..

Also. When downloaded are they automatically installed of do I have to install them?
