I'm struggling with this latest update from Friday to be honest. No problems on the others. Have lightened the car, fully mod'd it then detuned on power to hit PP limit. Full aero and softened suspension and taken a bit of camber off front tyres. it feels nicely planted now and drives well. Have also made the gear ratios much closer and am shifting at 6k to use the torque. I am not saying I am perfect on every corner but I am pushing it hard and I am 9 seconds off. Have I gone the wrong way with set-up? Only thing I can think of was to lengthen the gears out a bit again to make the most of that torque now that it is handling nicely. All driver aids are off, turning TCS off saved me a good few seconds at first.

Just go faster!

Sorry, that's not much help is it? I haven't given it a go yet, still struggling with the pickups at the Ring.

I have tried to go faster but even where I get a decent run I am looking at 7:57 or so and I'm not sure there is another 9 whole seconds to come, not without maxing it on every corner which I just can't see me doing. Also last night I even tried to put ASM on (didn't help as it keeps robbing power) and then when I turned it off and went out again, it was plainly still on. Very frustrating.

Have tried taking a bit of aero off and adding more power to get back to the PP limit but it hasn't made much difference and I would think less weight and more aero should be the key to a good lap. Don't think I am going to be able to do this one, first challenge to beat me.
