Installing Guildwars 2 on MBP with wine
Discussion
I am trying to install guild wars 2 on my macbook pro with wine bottler, not knowing how to use wine or how to use macs properly I don't know if i am doing it right or not.
I think I am doing it right because it started the guild wars downloader, an starts downloading it, its gets about 30 seconds in, then the GW2 downloader flashes off, then comes back for a second then the downloader window goes black an then the wine installer bar thats been running and going further an further stops.
can anyone give me either a website to follow on how to install it with wine, or tell me how to do it.

k as noone anwered, I have not bothered with wine.
Im just using bootcamp, just so ya know, as after looking on the ol' net, its the best way to play games as it can use the full processing power instead of being throttled by having another OS open will running the windows skin with wine.
that lats bit was for anyone else with the same problem as me

hi, tried to install to run under wine during the week - had the same issues as you seem to have had, so went back to playing on windows7 partition. from what I have read, getting it working under wine means having to live with a lot of serious problems(winehq support page), so its probably better to live with windows until a native client comes along (if ever).
