BF3 PC Players PC Specs

We often get technical questions on our thread and I have reasonable pc knowledge with which to offer help and I know that other guys do too.

The problem is it is often necessary to know the persons PC specs to be able to help. It is difficult to trawl through 160 pages of posts to find if the person has posted specs before or to ask then wait for the person to post them.

I thought a thread with all the players specs would be helpful.

I'll start the ball rolling.

OS: Windows 7 64bit
CPU: AMD bulldozer FX-4100 3.7ghz quad core
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
Ram: 8GB DDR3 666mhz
GFX Card: ATI HD Rdeon 7750 1024mb ddr5 overclocked.
HDD: 1 x 500gb 7200rpm 1 x 2tb 7200rpm
PSU: 630w modular.

It is also important to know your psu specs. So if you can please remember to put in you power supply output and how old it is.

Im probably way behind on specs but it seems to run BF3 fine (well, I dont now any different). My home PC is similarly specced and might run fractionally better as it has nothing on it bar BF3 and BC2, but that may just be a placebo effect.

PSU is what was installed when I bought this PC and have noticed that it is on 350W max! I bought this pc 4 years ago and got the best spec I could at the time.
I have recently changed to the hd6850 graphics card and realise that my PSU is probably struggling to keep up now as this pc came with a hd4850 to begin with.

gfx card is due an upgrade but dont have funds at the moment. BF3 Runs on medium to high settings for me with hardly any noticeable lag on a 100mb connection. cheers

Having said that, AVG premium didnt pick it up and it gets everything.

As far as I'm aware it's a safe program from a known safe website. I cannot fathom why your pc said it was bad. I have never had that particular trojan and I have had this program on several installs on several PC's.

Sorry but I don't know where it came from.

Also you are using windows security essentials which, quite honestly, sucks balls.
