Last football game I got was FIFA09 which I still play occasionally. Thinking I deserve a new one. What's the general consensus?

I only really play manager mode and have had a go on FIFA11. Thing that bugged me was my players didn't get any better over the season. Has this been fixed for 13?

FIFA 13 will be a steep learning curve for anyone who doesn't really play football games or FIFA 12. I'm not all that impressed with this one there really doesn't seem to be much difference except the AI are really good.

I'll be buying it to play online and against my mates we sometimes have a piss up and have FIFA tournaments. Good laugh.

Went for Pro Evo this year, used to be Pro Evo through and through and have been with FIFA since 2010. Have to say I think I made the right choice purely for gameplay.

I've just pre-ordered FIFA13, it'll be the first FIFA I've had since 08.

It should be good, I enjoyed the demo.

Pre-ordered mine the Ultimate Edition so I get the bonus 24 gold packs, I play a lot of ultimate teams, I've currently assembled a team of Brazlian players all 4-3-3 formation so got chemistry of 100, from what I've read / been told the chemistry in this is much more important that Fifa12 in terms of positioning and how the players make runs.

I used to be Pro Evo till around 2008 then it was crap, 2009 was the same as 2008 but with bug fixes now it's just dire many years a loyal Pro Evo fan where did it all go wrong. Best Pro Evo ironically was on the N64 of all places in my opinion.

I've always been PES but pre-ordered FIFA this year, so will see how I get on... To be honest it's probably not a good use of my cash because I will never have the time to be as competent on it as I've become on PES over the past decade, but hope I have fun trying!

I've gone for PES this year, and on the PC too which is a first for me. Might have to also get FIFA on the XBox though. Having tried both demos I do prefer the "feel" of PES somehow..

My pre-order came in the post today, thank you Tesco, paid £36. Had an e-mail from Tesco saying that Fifa 13 will be £29 if bought with MSP/PSN points or Xbox Live Membership. They gave me a code with £8 off because I pre-ordered, so I bought 2100 MSP for £10.

I'll be having a 'few' games tonight.
