Strategy Games for the PC

Looking for some help, I’m not a big gamer anymore but I quite fancied getting a hold of ages of the empires 2 again for when I’m bored at nights or when I’m lying beside the pool during my holiday.

I was just going to buy it again but I wondered is there any other games out there that are better now?

Don’t really like rollercoaster or hospital games. It would be good if it was like age of empires or something to do with f1.

Carrier Command is out tomorrow on PC ....
Loved the oringal and now thiking about buying a new pc to do it justice ! Just waiting for the reviews to give it the ok before splashing out.

I quite enjoyed Shogun: Total War (bit old, I know).

Shogun 2 is out now. Any of the total war series (pick your period).
The Dawn of War series is good as well, original for large unit action DoW2 for smaller skirmish type stuff.

I now remember why the fk I hate computers.

bding game wont work on windows vista.

has to be xp and I have no idea how to get it to work. God damn computers I only know how to fix clunky st

Compatibility tab
Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP

it didnt work came up an error message saying it was installed incorrectly

Google says there is an age of empires 3 vista patch ..
