Just a heads up to anyone who uses steam and doesn't know, the sale has just started, usually some good deals on games on offer over the Christmas period.

All of the SIMBIN driving sims are 70% off

You don't need to buy the whole lot imo, Race Injection and GT Legends will cover almost everything for just over £5.

Does GT Legends work properly on Windows 7? Because my original copy won't work on Win7, and for the sake of £2.25 to play it again without building an XP installation...

Even though I bought F1 2012 (for my PC, obv.) from a normal shop in a little retail box and everything, it still required me to download and sign up to Steam. Now every time I boot up the PC I have to contend with this fking annoying box which will not disappear. No matter how many times I set it to remove, it adds itself back in.

The game doesn't even work properly.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the trick with these old sims and Win 7 is not to install in the default program files directory. My rFactor works fine this way, Steam version of GT Legends works fine too bargain for just over two quid!

GTR2 and rFactor work fine on Win7 last time I checked. The problem with GT Legends was the copy protection software - so presumably Steam takes the part of that so it should work!

I'm going to get GTA IV: Complete Edition (it's on for £12.49) and actually finish a GTA game for a change. I've got the game on the PS3 but I never got very far for some reason. It looks great in the screenshots I have seen with the iCEnhancer 2.1 mod too.
