Forza Horizon - iPad 2 - SmartGlass - Y NO WORKY?!

I found SmartGlass last night, and whilst I can quite happily use it to work my way around the Xbox, I cannot for the life of me get it to work with Forza Horizon, it starts as it should, but won't advance any further than the 'START DRIVING TO ACTIVATE GPS' screen.

Google is giving me no joy, anybody got any bright ideas?!

I think some of the other guys were having the same problems with smartglass, have a check through some of the older pages of the club and official horizon threads.
