GT5 Inter-Champ Race - "FDDRL" vs "PHPCC" - Round 1

Here's the setup for the upcoming inter-champ race:

Track = Deep Forrest Raceway
Laps = 18 laps/race
Date - TBC


Car Rules:

Car = Renault Megane Sport '08 (Recommended car list)
Tyre's = Sports Hards/Mediums
No tuning allowed
FDDRL Drivers cars will be blue
PHPCC Drivers cars will be red


Race Rules:

Must use both compounds in each race
Only driving aid allowed is ABS
Tyre/Fuel wear = Normal
Grip = Realistic
Visible damage = off
Mechanical damage = off
Slipstream = weak


Ballast:

1st = 150
2nd = 100
3rd = 50


Penalites:

Not using both compounds = 2 points
Deliberately ramming a driver = 5 points
Causing a crash = 30 secs
Cutting corners = 10 secs (concrete section is not part of the track btw)


Points:

1st = 20
2nd = 18
3rd = 16
4th = 14
5th = 12
6th = 11
7th = 10
8th = 9
9th = 8
10th = 7
11th = 6
12th = 5
13th = 4
14th = 3
15th = 2
16th = 1

Additional Points:

Pole = 1 point
Fastest Lap = 1 point
Lead the race = 1 point

Any chance of having something more interesting than a Renault megane? I'm sure we can do better that a luke warm FWD hatch... Just some food for thought.

Yes when I suggested it I didn't think we would be doing 36 laps of Deep Forrest. I was thinking more along the lines of 5 laps of Tsukuba. I think a bit more beef is needed for Deep Forrest.

when testing it was getting low 1:30's without really trying and is a good car to drive, reason why i picked a hatchback than some of the more powerful cars is that because is relatively underpowered compared to some other cars makes for close competitive racing which should make it fun for all

Cj what's the min distance on each set of tyres?
