oh wasnt me - it was on the chive website.

i wouldnt have made the gt5 one nor the bf3. but then side scrollers arent really made these days - thats a genre thats died off.

edit: Goldeneye looks alright in that pic, it's when you fire up the N64 and see the framerate that you get disappointed.

I think it is safe to say things have gotten slightly better.....

And of course the one thing that really is amazing - going on-line and playing against your friends and even chatting to them over headsets.

I mean, when I first started going on-line, it meant unplugging the house phone!

Totally agree on the connectivity - It still amazes me. Playing Arma 2 with infantry squads, air support units, artillery and armoured teams made up of multiple nationalities all communicating and working together to achieve common objectives in real time.

It's totally brilliant.

Yeah, the GTAV ones are pointless, until the game is released you have no idea what machine those screenshots are taken from or what the game will look like on current consoles.
