Carnt get online ps3

So a few mates have got a few old games out the draw like race driver grid and I can’t seem to get online with it. I go to online mode and it just says connection lost. Does anyone else have this problem with older games or with Grid in particular? It must be the game as i can still get on GT5 and COD

Have you run the Internet test to make sure it is ok? What % reception etc you are getting?

They've switched off the MP servers for a lot of old games, looks like the GRID servers were turned off in 2011:
