PS3 downloadable games

Who the hell ever - seriously, ever - is stupid enough to spend £59.99 on a game download when the physical copy of the exact same thing can be bought for c.30% less online (ordered via your PS3 control pad, if you like) or in stores? I'm struggling, really struggling, to find any morsel of sense in it.

Some people don't want a physical game taking up space. A friend of mine put all his films and music onto hard drives and got rid of the lot.

I buy all my games second hand on ebay a week or so after they come out for about a tenner less, lol. Did it with Hitman. I like having physical copies of games, DVD's, Blu Rays etc, can't be doing with just having a download so agree with the OP.

Its also silly because when it comes to being bored of it, you can't trade it in..
