Grid Race Driver - XBOX £2.60

Not sure if anyone has mentioned but the excellent game Grid 1 is on Xbox live for £2.60. An absolute bargain at the price. Graphics that I feel are better than Forza 4. Handling is pretty good and some awesome tracks that no longer appear in games.

For 2.60 it is the bargain of all time.

Love this game, seems to still have an active online community.

Still online as you don't have to rely on servers you host the games, just as it should be. If the xbox is working in 10 years time you can bet people ewill play it online long after the excellent BF3 servers are switched off

New one out this year I think. This series of games has never been as good looking as the Gran Turismo games (on the PS machines) but it's an awful lot more fun with much closer racing.

Indeed! It has some shortcomings but it was released in 2007 so prob started in 2005. Its superb, the graphics I would argue to be better looking than Forza, the mix of racing blows Forza out of the water and for £2.60 its such a bargain.

I started downloading it last night. Loved this game when it first ome out and will be looking to get a few online games going.

Just a quick question, this is the first game I've downloaded to the HD, does it always take an hour and half - 2 hours?

Yeah, depending on your internet speed.
Remember it is like 6GB you are downloading, so will take some time.

I played this when it came out, really good game. I can't remember if I've still got the disc or if I traded it though. Got to be worth £2.69 to give it another go.

Why is it £2.69 and not however many Xbox account points?

MS points are less profit for MS

they give the things away in freebies etc.

I blow the dust off of my disc copy every now and again as i absolutely love this game, the detail in the car models and the damage are incredible. I'm very much looking forward to the next one coming out in April/May (I think).
