Me and the lady have decided to get back into gaming after many years of absence. Nothing serious but what coop games would you recommend? We have a ps3, 360 and Wii.

What about the sort of mini games you can get on these platforms? Not just the games you can buy in the shops.

Was also thinking of emulating the likes of Super Mario World and Streets of Rage etc also.

So, what should we play? biggrin

Lots of modern co-op games are done over the net rather than split screen if that is an issue. I think the Serious Sam games have a split screen option, co-op is fantastic.

Is Portal 2 split screen? If so, that has some brilliant co-op.

Any of the LEGO games (Star Wars, Batman, LoTR, etc) have two player Co-op, but they are a little... child orientated. Still fun though.

Good call.

You can download all the old classics on xbox live arcade (streets of rage, double dragon etc), in fact, xbla probably has most of the best same screen co-op games you can buy at the mo.

Sperlunky, splosion man and castle crushers are 3 good ones that come to mind

Lego games are well made, Good fun too.

Little Big Planet is again a bit 'childish' but good fun.

Minecraft is a good laugh if you like building things.

Can play it split screen too.

I will second this recommendation. Might also be worth picking up the original Boarderlands as that can be done split screen co op.
