GTA 4 - has it been hacked?

I am well aware that several COD games on PS3 have been hacked over the years, but I thought it was due to the coding used by the makers of COD.

Anyway, I certainly wasnt aware of any "haxx" going on in GTA4 online play, until I encountered this in free play mode the other day:

Inside, it was full to the brim of indestructible (missile had no effect), permanently running Annhialators all spawned on top of each other.

What the actual feck?

Check out the GTA appreciation thread. I brought up this very subject last week. It's annoying at best.

It's par for the course on GTA4, there's always some tool with a car with a neon ground kit who can run twice as fast as everyone else.

They just ruin the whole came for everyone.

Last time I played online there were two bullet proof people standing in the middle of the airport with rocket launchers while the only weapons to pick up were SMGs. No one could even get close to them till I made a Kamikaze run at them with a helicopter. It did kill them but then they decided to kick me out.
I tried a different free roam map but there everyone was almost invincible and had some kind of hippo costume.

Yes people have used mods on the xbox for ages now.

Last time I played there was loads of modded cars in the game.

Another Xbox 360 game online that has been modded is Dead Island, some guy gave me a load of duplicated modded weapons on it!

Most popular ps3 games are hacked now since the PS3 got properly hacked and now you can get custom firmwares and rip games etc.

Yes; it's pretty annoying when you're flying along in a helicopter and get overtaken by some prat on an invincible flying moped.
