Can anyone help me identify this old pc game?

Hi guys,

Can anyone help me identify the following:

Similar looking but much older than R.A.W. realms of ancient war.

I was playing it late 90s at a guess.

Was more wizard/magician themed i believe but with swords and bows and arrows/crossbows as well.

I remember there being troll type monsters that you had to kill.

Adventure style game, working your way through various medieval aged maps. One that sticks in my mind was surround building of a church.

I seem to remember you open chests for money which you spent on weapons/potions/spells?

I'm sorry I can't think of much else to go on?

Any suggestions greatly recieved.

If it was modern day i would think diablo 3

But as you said 90s i will say diablo 2.

That might be correct if it was a major click fest/number pressing fest

The more I think about the more I think there were wizards you had to get to to destroy. I seem to remember they used spells/hexes. I'm tempted to see if the old computer with the game on is still kicking about at mum and dads.
