and I am seriously impressed.

Had the TV for a while but just got round to trying it.

After reading some articles on the net I wasn't expecting it to be up to much, but It's very good indeed.

Tried PGR4 on X360 so far, the other half liked it too even though she is not a racing fan.

Going to go through the rest of my game collecton this afternoon looking for split sceen two player games to see what others I can try.

Any recommendations would be welcomed.

It makes it so that 2 players see their own (split)screen as a full screen image.

I used to balance a piece of wood vertically in front of the telly to achieve the same effect. smile

Gonna have to google dual play now to see what it's all about.

i was very impressed with it also, why we bought it over the samsung alternative!
Driving and FPS work very well, although turning it off when needing the menu can be a little annoying!

So does it have options for vertical and horizontal splitscreen? Also doesn't the image appear stretched at all?

The TV can cope with either vertical / horizontal splits ... yes the image does get stretched, but it's still much better than seeing the split screen.

Didn't get round to going through my game collection on Sunday so still only tried it with PGR4 on my X360 so far, will try my PS3 this week for which I have some of the COD games.

FWIW - as I understand it, any Passive 3D TV can do this ... you just need to get the LG glasses.

I tried it at a mates place about a month ago. Very impressive, but I can't say I really liked it. Playing Gran Turismo seemed to confuse it, the menus were a mess (viewed through the the glasses) and the track was very narrow when you got to drive. In a way, I was glad you didn't want the glasses on for the menus as they made my eyes feel a bit odd. It could be down to a couple of hours in the pub and not setting it up properly

I've got GT5 so will try it, PGR4 was "squished" a bit vertically, but still very playable.

There's nothing worse than watching or playing something with the wrong aspect ratio.

Until this was mentioned this sounded like awesome tech.

It's better than the split screen.

I'll try to take a picture .... not sure if it will be possible

If it takes off I can see split screen games a dual view mode where the image is squashed so it looks right when full screen. That would be awesome.

It may even be possible now ... I haven't played with any of the TV / game / console settings.

Hell, I mentioned to my TVR mechanic yesterday that my dashboard light dimmer switch didn't work .... to be told that's because that is the wiper delay ..... only had the car for 10 years!
