Anyone else playing this yet?

I saw a video of it a few months ago and I've been quite excited about it. It was released on Steam a week or so ago and I absolutely love it.

Imagine a mix between Age of Empires and Star Trek Armada. Basically, it's a space based game where you have to conquer a galaxy using brute force or diplomacy. There are 8 races, tons of spaceships and loads of weapons.

The really fun part is being able to custom create your own spaceships based on different hulls and kitting them out with anything you like.

The main game graphic are pretty good, although the planetry based stuff is a little 'basic'. That said, it's an indie game and is under constant development with the promise of lots of updates and additional content to come.

I will say that it is expensive for an indie game, around £25...

If anyone is into Command and Conquer or other RTS games, this is a really fun game.

I'm in thoe office, so I can't post a link to youtube for the videos but it is well worth a look.

Been playing this since the weekend it's very addictive. Researching tech takes a long time, I would leave it running while I did other stuff. Once you unlock the big capital ships they take an age to build too.

Well worth a look though.
