I just started Ultimate vault hunter mode and I was getting my arse kicked so I went back to get completionist on True Vault Hunter mode.
I was at southern shelf and all the enemies were level 48 - 51 but if I fire up the first play through they are all level 2-4 as they should be.

Is it a glitch in my game or does the "scale enemies to your character" in the ultimate vault hunter pack apply to true vault hunter mode too??

Borderlands 2 like the first scales the game to your character and play through number to make it harder

Anyone else find this game and the first absolutely awful? Kept hearing good things but gameplay, graphics and story are really below par. So disappointed.

keep meaning to go back and give this another shot. when i finish metro last light, tomb raider and about ten other games i will probably find another excuse not to

???? It's one of the best games out there. I've racked up 255 hours so far and I still love it. It's very good looking, great story, excellent sense of humor and superb game play.

I really can't believe that we're talking about the same game.

Yeah loved this game. Done everything on it but forgot my password on my old ps3 user so can't play it anymore

I got the first one on PSN+, just couldn't get along with it. Seemed very boring, just bullet sponge bad guys. Everyone else seems to love it though!

I stopped playing it on the Xbox after killing the big bad boss thing near the end (some sort of flying thing, IIRC). I've got to go and do another mission but all the enemies are ridiculously hard now - I seem to remember they're many, many levels above me and kill me before I can even dent them.

I tried it on coop split screen with a mate over the wk end. We both got ores after an hour and turned it off.
Graphics are odd, there is no blood or gore, just not very exciting.

Have to say that I'm a fan off BL 1&2, but ultimate vault hunter mode brought nothing to the table. Yet another playthrough but this time with the enemies a couple of levels above where you are at making it daft hard and not enjoyable in the slightest. There is the lure of the pearlescent weapons of course but the drop rate is so low it's almost insignificant. Maybe the 4th DLC due June 25 (Tiny Tinas Assault on Dragon Gorge or something) will make me go back to it

Anyway, I loved the original Borderlands and clocked up a silly number of hours on it, but I found Borderlands 2 a bit "more of the same" and eventually lost interest. Especially when they nerfed The Bee.

Tina Tina was one of the best characters though, so if there is a DLC with her in it I might consider getting it just for a laugh.
