Free to download games for 360 in the run up to One release
Discussion
In the conference where Microsoft announced the release of the One, they also announced that the 360 will get free-to-download premium titles, 2 a month, until the One was released. I recall them saying that Halo 3 was one of the two games for the first month's download. Does anyone know when these games are hitting Live for free download?
I think this is a pretty cool thing MS are going, and I don't see it stopping at the release of the One. What would you guys like to see on FTDL in the coming months?

Bloody hell, nearly missed that. I thought they'd be publicising this on the 360 start screen, but it doesn't seem to be advertised on any of the Live displays on the menus. Even searching Fable III, there didn't seem to be anything indicating it was on a free offer, other than the price displayed had changed to "free". Downloading now, I'm not a big Fable fan but free is free.

What we got today guys?
Defense Grid : The Awakening http://majornelson.com/2013/06/30/games-with-gold-...It's up and it's pretty good. I quite like this sort of thing, there are probably loads of hidden gems in the Live Arcade back catalogue that are overlooked. The recent SEGA sale encouraged me to pick up a few titles for cheap (and some I wish I had just left behind, like the interesting but slightly inane SEGA Bass fishing game).
Still, more AAA titles for free would be great. But as gamers, we really need to get away from our silly obsession with massive budget AAA titles, they have crushed a lot of the life and innovation out of the gaming market.
