PS4 pre order

Any tips, best place to pre order? Also I can't really find much of a confirmed date for release/delivery. Anyone know?

I haven't pre-ordered a console but I always pre-order games through Game. Every time I have pre-ordered a game I have gotten it a day or two before general release although I'm guessing consoles may be a bit different!

I've preordered through Amazon as they've always been pretty reliable in the past for me. There isn't a confirmed release date yet, but I would imagine Sony will be getting close to announcing the official date. My gut feel is late November/early December.

Whoever you preorder with I wouldn't hang around much longer as reports are starting to get more frequent indicating that the initial batch of consoles have been sold and it could be early 2014 before the next batch is available.

Hmm point taken i may do it today. Bit of a tricky one because with the new assassins creed and grand theft auto etc i don't wanna wait ages to play them, but also don't want to buy the ps3 versions then take the delivery of a ps4.

Such dirty bds for not making them backwards compatible.

You're safe with GTA as it is PS3 and 360 only. We will have to wait for GTA6 for the next gen games.

I hear what you are saying about AC though as I am thinking the same thing for Battlefield 4. The release date of BF4 is partly why I think that the next gen consoles will be late November.

I pre-ordered mine with Simply Games last month, before it was announced there would be a delay, i've just checked on Simply Games and now everything ps4 related has a release date of the 1st December, I'm assuming this date is due to the high demand and not because the ps4 is being delayed for another reason??? I.e. i'm still 'hopefully' getting mine on the actual release day.

Tbh, i'll be that involved with GTA5 i might just sell it to make a profit then buy another when it calms down after christmas... Who knows.

That date is just their best guess for when it will come out, nothing has been officially announced yet, so I wouldn't worry about it.
