Nintendo 2DS. A DS system, laid flat without the hinge, that plays DS games, and 3DS games in 2D. $129 (Game have set their UK price at £109. Can't quite process this yet, but I think Ninty have been smoking the weird stuff.

I hope it comes with that soft case in the box. 2 screens on a 'slate' like that is a weird setup, a price drop and 3DS software on the DS Lite would have got the same market as an entry level handheld, it's been around a while so it would be cheaper to make now than what it was at launch. I know Nintendo update the DS line with something just about every year, but this is an odd one.

What the 3D? Can't you just turn this off on the 3DS?
Unless the price drops by another £30 or so then I can't see this selling much...
The floppy hinges which can't keep the top screen where you want it. Although I don't mind the loss of 3D, I couldn't tell the difference myself...Unless the price drops by another £30 or so then I can't see this selling much...
