Intros and Ending Cinamatics

Is it just me that looks forward to a good intro or ending cinematic to a new game and gets a bit judgemental and disappointed if they are a bit poor? Civ 5's lack of victory cinamatics where a bit meh for example!

Some of the favs that stick in the mind are the intro to the original X-Com and the ending to Final Fantasy 8.

Loved the original Half Life intro too, still one of the only games to have blown me away when I first played it

Dragging myself away from the superb Homeworld the cutscenes that have stuck in my mind are fairly old.

L4D2 was pretty good for the intro
